Learning Style - Lesson Formats

I offer lessons in 3 formats:

1. Face to face in my home office, which is fully equipped including whiteboard.*
2. Face to face at your own home up to five miles from my home office.*
3. Online, using Zoom technology.

My preference is to conduct lessons online using Zoom, which provides a number of advantages to students:

• Convenient for students without having to travel. This saves travel costs and provides more flexibility regarding lesson times - avoiding rush hour, travelling in the dark and so on. Because it’s all done online, you can chat before breakfast, after dinner, any time you like.
• More engaging for students in the age of the internet: Talking face-to-face, pupils and tutors see each other via live video; great for building rapport.
• Sharing and collaboration - Upload essays or past papers, and work through examples together on the whiteboard.
• Students can attend at any time and from any location, even when on holiday.
