GCSE Mathematics is extremely important for the future of any student and can have a dramatic impact on their lives, it is the gateway to success and the key qualification that ALL employers look for: all professional occupations require a pass in GCSE Mathematics (Grade 5 and above) and it is the stepping stone to further study at A levels, leading to University and the professions to which most students and parents aspire.

Mathematics is an essential tool used in everyday life. It helps us think analytically and develop better reasoning abilities which in turn facilitates problem solving.

Finally, Mathematics is important because it allows people to take complex processes and make them more manageable by applying structure, patterns and rules. This is a skill that transfers to many situations in both professional and personal contexts.
